All members of the Dick Trickle Memorial Project staff are completely volunteer. No salaries, wages, stipends, or benefits are provided to any member of the staff. There are currently seven Directors consisting of: Gary Erickson, Marv Marzofka, John Alft, John Timm, Jeff Crawley, Vicky (Trickle) Bowman, and Donn Lee Steuck. Previous Directors were the late Tom Reffner and the late Dick Mannstedt. Director's duties consist of a wide variety of activities. We have taken it upon ourselves to design the Memorial, raise funds, create public awareness of the Memorial, work with local officials as well as our engineering support staff, perform construction work, and do whatever else needed to be done to make the Memorial become a reality. Our volunteer staff is comprised of friends, family, and fans of Dick who have dedicated many hours of hard work. Volunteer Construction Workers were responsible for most of the actual hands on construction work that has been accomplished to complete the Memorial. Volunteer Representatives have been of great assistance in fund raising. To date fund raising had been the largest single task we had undertaken. The Fund Raising effort is by far more difficult work than the actual construction work that has been performed. Fund raising activities had included but were not limited to attending races at several area race tracks, car shows, and other racing related activities where we had sold an array of Dick Trickle Memorabilia as well as donor inscriptions that will appear on the Donor's Wall and the Picture Wall. We have also performed actual hands on work at the Memorial site in the Rudolph Village Park. Our activities are kept current on the Dick Trickle Memorial Project Facebook page. We succeeded at completing this Memorial project and have established a perpetual maintenance fund.
